WHO SHOULD STUDY THIS COURSE? (SELECTION CRITERIA)

This course is suitable for those considering a career as a Counsellor or is looking to add the counselling skillset to other therapy modalities. These may include:

-Students seeking entry into this course will have obtained their HSC or equivalent and be at least 21 years of age at the time of enrolment.
OR
- Existing workers who have over three years of work experience and wish to upgrade their skills in a new/existing industry sector
OR
- Existing workers who wish to have their current skills and knowledge recognised
OR
- New entrants to the workplace who wish to gain a qualification for the purpose of getting a job
OR
- Individuals wishing to change careers or enter into a new career
OR
- If there is no Certificate IV (any) previously completed, you may have to complete an LLN Assessment.

DELIVERY MODE

- This course is delivered online to students across Australia and the globe. Training will be delivered online using interactive platforms and utilities (Zoom).

- This course is self-paced, and students will be required to complete activities in their own time and will be required to manage their own study.
- Combination - Training will be delivered using a combination of methods, including additional online webinars, study and assessments support sessions and practical webinars for the clinical hypnosis specialisation

ASSESSMENT METHODS

Different units will require the completion of different assessments across the course. These include:
- Observation/Practical skills
- Written responses
- Third-party reports
- Case studies
- Simulated / Role Plays. Note: Some assessments will require the student to be in the same room as the mock client.
